My Favourite iPhone Game Got Updated

Finally one of my favourite games is updated for iPhone 5's full screen. - Dream League Soccer.

The longer screen of the iPhone 5 really gives a big plus to the display viewing experience while playing:

As of my last Android phone, I have not been successful to find an equivalent excellent soccer game for Android.

Highly recommended soccer game to my iPhone friends.
Yes, it's better than FIFA 12. I haven't tried FIFA 13 yet.

Both Dream League Soccer and FIFA 12 are nowhere near console quality, but they are certainly 2 of the best on mobile platform and I can play them anywhere.

I Concede an Unfortunate Goal

Time for my favourite iPhone game after a long day at work.

But alas, after just minutes into the Dream League Soccer game, I concede an unfortunate goal:

Euro 2012 and My Soccer Betting

The 4-years-once European Soccer 2012 has finally kicked off.
Like the World Cup 2 years ago, this is time of the year for soccer betting.

I don't usually bet on soccer.
I will just "play for fun" during major tournaments like the World Cup and European Cup.

I have an "odd" habit for my soccer betting. People around me tend to bet on ANY team which they think will help them to win MONEY.

Not that I don't want to win money, but I have a second consideration - favourite and supported teams. I'm an England fan, by the way.

For example during the last World Cup, in one of the matches involving England as the underdogs, many who like England but condemned them on this occasion and bet on the other team in the hope of higher chance of winning.

To me, watching the soccer competition with added enjoyment of mild betting bring lots of joy during this time.

So, if I were to bet on England loss but win money in the end, I would have lost half the joy. Of course, I'm happy to win money.

So, what do I do in this case?
Yes, I would bet on England on the "give 1/2 ball" by the opponent!

My Favourite iOS Game of the Month - Dream League Soccer

I've always been a fan of PC soccer game. And no surprise there that the FIFA series PC game is one of my favourite games.

My current gaming machine is the iPad, to no one's surprise.
And the game I'm hooked to is the excellent "Dream League Soccer" for iPad and iPhone.

It's free and the develop earns when the consumers "buys" the virtual coins using real money and then use these virtual coins to upgrade their players.

Now, I've "advanced" far enough into the game to unlock "legendary" players like Pele, Zidane and Maradona, etc.
And yes, these three are part of my Dream Team now!

One great feature of the game is that it allows uploading of any saved Replays to YouTube.

I will start off by sharing one of my saved Replays with Maradona scoring a superb goal.

Manchester United goes to the top!

Manchester United goes to the top of the table with a 7-1 thrashing of Blackburn Rovers yesterday!

Although with a +6 goal for the 7-1 score, the Goal Difference is still level with that of Chelsea. Meaning, if Chelsea were to win the balance match, Chelsea will go on top of the table again due their superior goal difference.

Anyway, it's anyone's game at this stage.
