I am Staying on With iPhone For a While More
Now this intention has been put on hold after I've got the New iPad.
One prominent thing when you got the new iPad package is the outstanding "iCloud" logo at one side of the box.
And "Photo Stream" is one of the built-in features that utilises iCloud.
What I'm using it a lot about Photo Stream is this:
I took photos using my iPhone 4S camera. With Photo Stream set to on, whenever I'm back home with my home WIFI connected, the photos are uploaded to my iCloud account automatically. No user intervention.
When I'm settled down after a good evening shower, these photos would have already been automatically downloaded to my New iPad's Photo Stream section.
I would then use my current favourite photo editing tool, PicCollage to create some leisure "photo art" albums.
Sure, Android may have similar cloud-based, but its implementation is not as "transparent to users" as Photo Stream.

Is Your Android Phone Really Capable Of True Multitasking?
There is this popular statement we heard frequently, "Android OS has true multitasking".
Well, the software probably is.
But, is an Android device running Android OS offers "true multitasking"?
Well my Galaxy S WIFI 5" certainly doesn't! And I will tell you why.
I have this habit of surfing the net, reading emails, news on my hand phone while I lunch or dine.
So, today while I lunch, I whipped out my Galaxy S WIFI 5" to have some lightweight news catching up while I eat.
Guess what, I gave up using the device after 1 minute. The device is so wide that it takes a good acrobat artist to access the various buttons such as the back button, menu button using one hand without making the set drop down and drink my soup.
As expected, I replaced it with my trusted iPhone 4S after that.
Now, this is multitasking!
P.S. So now you know why I resist the Galaxy Note as my phone.

The iPad 3 Comes to Singapore First
A day later, today, in the same web page, it's now showing delivery date as "after 18th March".
So, is this iPad 3 flying off the shelves?
I think it is!

SD Storage Through the Years
While cleaning up my study room, I found this old digital storage card.
It's a Smart Media card with 32 MB storage size. Yes, MB, not GB.
This card was bought around the year 2002. Its size is roughly 10 times that of the current micro SD.
10 years on, and now the card I'm buying now is in the capacity of 32GB, 1000 times bigger than the on I bought 10 years ago!
That is calculated to be an increment of about 100MB per year!
Impressive!
